Shannon
Price
For the last 10 years, Shannon has been involved
in mentoring students. Her own rich college and sorority experience,
which included mentoring and small group learning, inspired her
to work with Gateway Student Development. Before coming to Gateway,
she was self-employed as an optometrist for many years. In her profession,
she learned to manage people and succeed in business while maintaining
both the freedom and flexibility she desired to pursue outside interests.
She returned to graduate school in 2001 to
study counseling and spirituality. Shannon now works with Lifequest
where she assists clients with life planning and personal development.
At Gateway, she focuses on individual and group mentoring, leadership
development, and leading short-term service trips. In her free time,
she likes to dance, snowboard, and scuba dive with her husband Lucas.
